NZ Clean Energy has signed a long-term Power Purchase Agreement with Fonterra for electricity generated by the Darfield solar and energy storage farm under a 10–15 year agreement.
This partnership marks a major milestone for the project — and an important step for Fonterra, with this becoming the co-operative’s largest Solar Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with an independent operator.
A strong signal of growing demand for reliable, locally generated clean energy.
