  • OLIVER JORDAN

    As our National Land Development Manager, Oliver Jordan plays a crucial role in bringing our renewable energy projects to life. He identifies ideal sites and cultivates strong relationships with landowners, ensuring seamless project initiation. Oliver's extensive experience in sales, trading, and solar installation allows him to effectively build rapport and navigate complex project requirements. He's also a vital link within our team, collaborating on all aspects of development, from securing resource consent to establishing grid connections, to deliver successful outcomes.

  • TRACEY MORSE

    Tracey Morse, our Senior Planner, is an expert with 14 years of experience in the field. With a BSc and BSocSc (Hons) in Earth Sciences and Planning from Waikato University and a membership with the NZ Planners Institute, Tracey's foundation is solid. Her diverse portfolio includes successfully managing Resource Consents for a vast array of projects – from rural and residential to tourism, and from small initiatives to major 500-lot land developments, encompassing both public and private sectors. Tracey is highly skilled in developing educational content and delivering impactful presentations to community and industry stakeholders. Her professional journey has taken her across New Zealand, from Stewart Island to the North, and even included a two-year stint in Scotland, making her appreciate New Zealand's warmer climes even more.

  • HELEN SEBASTIAN

    Helen Sebastian is our Business Support Manager, bringing over 18 years of invaluable experience in property and finance to our team. Her excellence was nationally recognized in her previous role, where she was awarded Administrator of the Year. Helen excels at coordinating large projects and effectively collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including government bodies. With extensive experience across both New Zealand and the UK, she offers a wealth of knowledge spanning all facets of business support. This includes meticulous accounting practices, efficient payroll management, and comprehensive general administrative tasks, alongside her strong background in IT and operations. Her broad skill set ensures seamless and effective support across all our critical business functions.

  • SCOTT BURLING

    Meet Scott Burling, our Project Manager. Scott's commitment to renewable energy generation is a lifelong pursuit, underpinning his extensive technical expertise. His experience includes significant engineering roles within the Generation department of a New Zealand Gentailer and with leading multinational engineering consultancies. Scott, who earned his BCom/BE(Hons) from the University of Auckland, is pivotal to the precise coordination and successful delivery of NZCE's diverse projects.

  • HARRY SIMPSON

    Director

    Harry Simpson, our CEO, is an investment and low-carbon industry specialist with extensive experience leading international energy infrastructure and carbon businesses. He has successfully developed hundreds of millions of dollars worth of renewable energy infrastructure and low-carbon projects across the UK, Australia, and New Zealand. Harry is an Economics and International Development graduate from the University of Bath and holds the CFA UK Certificate in Investment Management (IMC).

  • GEORGE HUGHES

    Director

    George Hughes, our COO brings over 13 years of experience owning and running private renewable energy and carbon businesses. He has originated, developed, and managed hundreds of megawatts of diverse energy infrastructure projects, including solar PV, wind, waste-to-energy, battery, and carbon installations across the UK, EU, Australia, and New Zealand. George has led teams to deliver over 200 renewable energy projects and helped hundreds of businesses significantly reduce their environmental impact.

    With an MBA focused on carbon, sustainability, and the environment from the University of Bradford, George expertly applies complex business management strategies to achieve both strong financial returns and positive environmental results.

  • Gary Freedman

    Meet Gary Freedman, a Consultant deeply embedded in New Zealand's renewable energy landscape. For over 20 years, Gary has demonstrated a robust track record in wind, solar, and cutting-edge clean technologies in both NZ and the UK. He's been instrumental in leading and supporting large-scale infrastructure projects through every phase, effectively bridging the gap between developers, contractors, and stakeholders. His diverse career, covering project management, owner's representation, and strategic development, consistently reflects his dedication to decarbonization and a sustainable energy future. Driven by a passion for innovation, Gary has even ventured into electric transport and champion local environmental causes, bringing together his technical acumen with a strong commitment to long-term climate and community benefits.
